The Austrian Society for Landscape Architecture (ÖGLA) offers a 2-day program exclusively for members of the Association of German Landscape Architects. The tour of cool Vienna takes in the city, Seestadt Aspern and the outskirts of Vienna. A half-day background seminar at the ÖGLA, HAUS DER LANDSCHAFT provides background information on the concepts of the projects visited and a seminar on Vienna's sponge city principle for urban trees.

Shortly before the European elections, the parliamentarians adopted the renaturation law on February 27 with 329 votes in favour and 275 against. This was preceded by years of intensive wrangling between the EU Parliament and member states over key issues such as the percentage of areas to be restored and the timeframe for implementation.

First prize for the garden "Stege an den Feuchtwiesen" in Velen, to Christina Schnelting Landscape architect AKNW, Naturwohnraum
On February 21, 2024, the prizes and commendations were awarded in the Gardens of the Year 2024 competition. In front of around 200 guests in the Inspyrium on the grounds of the Ebben tree nursery in Cuijk, the Netherlands, landscape architect Christina Schnelting from the Naturwohnraum planning office in Velen was delighted to receive first prize for her garden "Stege an den Feuchtwiesen" in North Rhine-Westphalia.

bdla exhibition on "Young Landscape Architecture". Competition submission online until April 2, 2024
