Garden conservation planning services are increasingly in demand. However, regulations on a minimum standard of objectives have been lacking up to now. As a result, task descriptions and services have so far been formulated and applied in a markedly diverse manner. In cooperation with the Association of German Landscape Architects (Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten), the German Foundation for the Preservation of Historical Monuments (Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz) designed this seminar, which presents the development of garden monument preservation objectives and current recommendations for requirements. Among other things, required investigations and documents will be dealt with using practical examples, and the current state of discussion on the methodology and standardization of garden monument preservation planning services will be presented.

Practical Assistance: Methodology of Garden Monument Preservation on November 4, 2022, 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. in Munich.
