The Garden, Cemetery and Forestry Office of the state capital Düsseldorf currently has around 600
the city's green and open spaces as well as cemeteries and forest areas.
The "Lower Nature Conservation Authority, Green Planning and New Construction" department is responsible for safeguarding and further expanding the green and open space system at various planning levels.
Its tasks include:
- Amendment procedure for the landscape plan of the state capital Düsseldorf
- Implementation of the landscape plan, including the derivation of landscape development measures
- Approval procedures and intervention/compensation regulations in accordance with the State Nature Conservation Act
NRW/Federal Nature Conservation Act
- Monitoring and enforcement of conditions from approval procedures
- Management of the nature conservation advisory board of the state capital Düsseldorf
This job advertisement is aimed at:
- Employees with a Master's degree in the field of landscape architecture
or landscape conservation or a comparable degree.
It is also aimed at:
- Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in landscape architecture or
landscape conservation or comparable degree, who have at least one year in EG 11 TVöD or
comparable and have at least one year of relevant professional experience.
These employees must be willing to complete a modular qualification as a prerequisite for grouping
in EG 13 TVöD to complete. The recruitment procedure also constitutes the admission procedure for
modular qualification.
Your profile beyond this qualification:
- Sound and practicable knowledge in the field of landscape planning
- Experience with the preparation and amendment of landscape plans
- Knowledge of approval procedures under landscape law, impact regulation and nature conservation
and environmental law
- Confident handling of geographical information systems
- Communication and negotiation skills, social skills and the ability to work in a team

According to the job characteristics of the pay scale, the personal prerequisite for classification from
EG 13 TVöD is a completed scientific university degree (Master's degree, diploma from a university)
or a comparable qualification. In individual cases, it may therefore only be possible to group into the
lower pay group is possible.
