Job Description

The planning office for landscape ecology and open space design has been working near Kaiserslautern for 30 years. The range of work primarily includes intervention work on a wide variety of projects (road construction, pipeline construction, development planning, land consolidation procedures), the preparation of species protection assessments, faunistic and vegetation surveys, open space planning with tendering and construction management as well as ecological construction supervision.
We are a team of 4 landscape planners and 2 CAD draughtswomen and mainly work in Rhineland-Palatinate. Our clients are primarily the public sector and engineering firms.

We are looking for a landscape planner / landscape ecologist (f/m/d) to join our team as soon as possible on a full or part-time basis to work on interesting, diverse projects.



Your areas of responsibility:

- Landscape conservation plans for the processing of nature conservation

impact regulation,

- Environmental assessments in urban land-use planning

- Species conservation assessments

- FFH and VSG impact assessment

- Biotope mapping

- Vegetation and fauna mapping

- Open space design with implementation planning

- Ecological construction monitoring



What you should bring with you:

- Completed studies in landscape planning, landscape ecology, environmental sciences, biology or comparable courses of study

- Basic knowledge in the preparation of landscape ecology and species protection reports

- Knowledge of vegetation science and/or knowledge of a planning-relevant animal group (birds, reptiles, amphibians, bats)

- Knowledge of nature conservation and species protection legislation

- Confidence in the formulation of specialist texts

- Knowledge of industry-standard software, knowledge in the use of AutoCAD or GIS would be an advantage

- Driving license class B

- Enjoy working in a team
