Landscape architect
The Horticultural Office, Planning Department, is looking for a full-time or part-time (tandem) landscape architect to work in the area of project planning as soon as possible. The position is open-ended and offers a salary up to pay group 11 TVöD if you have the appropriate qualifications.


Your tasks
You will assume the central role of contact person in cooperation with the municipal departments involved
You will oversee the green planning aspects of larger urban road construction projects and building construction measures
As the client representative for the City of Karlsruhe, you will support and supervise external planning offices and manage the budget
In all HOAI service phases, you will develop and concretize your own plans in the respective focal points
You prepare budget proposals for the planned projects and are responsible for their implementation

Your profile
You have a university degree (diploma or bachelor's degree) in landscape architecture, landscape conservation or a comparable qualification for the above-mentioned area of responsibility (foreign degrees from outside the EU must be recognized in Germany)
Confidence in design as well as sound specialist knowledge and practical experience in all service phases of the HOAI (service profile for outdoor facilities) and the VOB are a matter of course for you
You have experience in creating service descriptions and implementation plans
You are characterized by independent action in the areas of construction management, construction site controlling, construction invoicing and supplement management
As a client representative of the City of Karlsruhe, you are always friendly and confident
The ability to work in a team, initiative as well as organizational and negotiating skills stand for your way of working
Very good written and spoken German (language level C1 desirable) is a matter of course for you
