German Landscape Architecture Award 2017 goes to Rheinboulevard in Cologne-Deutz

First prize in the competition for the German Landscape Architecture Award 2017 goes to the project"Rheinboulevard in Köln-Deutz", designed by Maik Böhmer, Planorama Landschaftsarchitektur, Berlin.

This was decided by the eleven-member jury, chaired by Ursula Hochrein, landscape architect bdla, lohrer.hochrein, Munich, at its meeting on 28 April 2017 in the German Architecture Centre in Berlin.

Awards in nine categories went to:

Use of plants - Lohsepark, Hamburg, design author Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten, Zurich/Berlin.

Green infrastructure as a strategy - Zu neuen Ufern, Siegen, designed by Atelier LOIDL Landscape Architects, Berlin

Participation and planning - wagnisART - living environment as a participatory process, Munich, design author bauchplan ).(, Munich
