The conversion project "Dreiklang der Stadtentwicklung PHOENIX West - Hörde Zentrum - PHOENIX See" in the Dortmund district of Hörde receives the German Urban Development Award 2018.

The interdisciplinary jury (urban planning, architecture, open space planning and monument preservation), chaired by Prof. Undine Giseke, paid tribute to the high quality of the urban space created by the natural interlocking and new coding of use of the two former industrial sites Phönix West and East with the Hörde district and, beyond that, with the city as a whole.

The German Urban Development Prize is awarded every two years by the German Academy for Urban Development and Regional Planning (DASL).
