On February 7, 2019, Callwey Verlag and its partners once again invite you to the "Gardens of the Year" awards event in the historic ballroom at Schloss Dyck.

At this festive event, Callwey will present the new yearbook "Gardens of the Year 2019", which presents and awards the most beautiful private gardens of the year. At the same time, the exhibition documenting the best 50 properties will be opened; it can be seen at Schloss Dyck until 18 April.

The Austrian writer Robert von Musil once said "The garden is a nature of art." In any case, it is not art and not nature, but the tense in-between.

Since 2015, the Callwey publishing house and its partners, including the Association of German Landscape Architects (Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekten bdla), have been awarding prizes to the best examples of professional garden planning and design that know how to interpret this tense in-between time and again.

The independent jury included bdla Vice President Irene Burkhardt, Munich, and Alexander Koch, Koch Koch Gartenarchitekten, winner of GARDENS OF THE YEAR 2018.

The first prize is endowed with prize money of 5,000 euros, further offices will receive an award.
