The Garden Practice Day for Landscape Architects and Landscape Contractors is already a tradition at the spoga gafa Die Gartenmesse trade fair, which will be held in Cologne from 1 to 3 September 2019.

On Monday, 2 September 2019, starting at 1 p.m. in the Europasaal, five renowned speakers will explain important basics and impart specialist knowledge from their practical experience. Topic: "Planning with plants, building for 50".

The older the garden owner, the more demanding the garden planning. The garden becomes a second living room, a "fountain of youth". The plants may well become more exclusive, but at the same time they must be easy to care for. There is already talk of a garden suitable for all generations.

The building code also applies to this. Because: The more the garden develops into an extended living room, with embankments, conservatory, outdoor kitchen, pool or sauna, the more often the question arises: does it require a permit or not?

The audience can look forward to Jörg Pfenningschmidt, Naturdesign, Hamburg; Jonas Reif, Foerster Stauden, Potsdam and Alexander Nix, landscape architect bdla, Contur 2, Bergisch Gladbach.

The four-hour specialist programme will be moderated by Brigitte Röde, landscape architect bdla, Planungsbüro Garten und Freiraum, Cologne, and spokesperson for garden art and garden culture of the bdla North Rhine-Westphalia.

The practical day is recognised by the Chamber of Architects of North Rhine-Westphalia as a further training event with 3 teaching units of 45 minutes each.

Participation is free of charge; free registration incl. admission ticket at : www.spogagafa.de/praxistag
