An attractive rural area needs appropriate architecture. Since 2014, the Foundation LV Münster has awarded the LANDBAUKULTUR-PREIS every 2 years to exemplary agricultural outdoor facilities and buildings. Just as the land and its cultivation through farming or livestock husbandry shapes the buildings of the farmers, so too do the agricultural buildings and gardens shape the landscape.

Since 2014, it has awarded the LANDBAUKULTUR PRIZE every 2 years to exemplary agricultural outdoor facilities and buildings. Just as the land and its cultivation through arable farming or livestock husbandry shapes the farmers' buildings, so too do agricultural buildings and gardens shape the landscape.

The Landbaukultur Prize is endowed with a total of € 30,000 and is awarded in the categories of new buildings and conversions. Both newly constructed and converted buildings, parts of buildings and outdoor facilities on agricultural holdings are eligible for the award.

Ina Bimberg, freelance landscape architect bdla in Iserlohn, represents the bdla, ideal partner of the competition, in the jury, which will meet in October 2020.

The deadline for applications is 31 August 2020.
