In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Association of German Landscape Architects will launch the 15th competition for the German Landscape Architecture Award.

The German Landscape Architecture Award honours exemplary projects and their authors. The subject matter is socially and ecologically oriented settlement and landscape development as well as contemporary open space planning.

Outstanding planning achievements, including conceptual ones, which demonstrate aesthetically sophisticated, innovative, ecological and participatory solutions are honoured.

The top-class jury will award one first prize and a maximum of nine awards. These again cover the range of landscape architects' fields of activity: Living/Working Environment, Plant Use, Climate Adaptation, Play, Sport, Exercise, Landscape and Environmental Planning, Historic Sites/Heritage Garden Preservation.

The competition documents will be made available in good time at www.deutscher-landschaftsarchitektur-preis.de. Deadline for entries is January 26, 2021.
