As of now, applications for Bridging Assistance II can be submitted via the nationwide platform www.ueberbrueckungshilfe-unternehmen.de for the period from September to December 2020. The so-called Bridging Assistance II follows on from Bridging Assistance I (June to August 2020).

It supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as solo self-employed persons and freelancers, who are particularly hard hit by the measures to combat the pandemic, with non-repayable grants towards fixed operating costs.

As the Federal Association of Liberal Professions further informs, the demands for an entrepreneur's wage in the bridging aid and a reduction of the KfW fast loan for operating units with less than 10 employees are unfortunately still open.
