Strengthening social cohesion, rebuilding climate-resilient cities, succeeding in the energy transition or digitising the construction sector - the next federal government will have to be measured, among other things, by the successful realisation of these core issues.
The German landscape architects specifically expect from the future members of the Bundestag
- to implement legal measures in order to implement the White Paper on Urban Greening and to accelerate climate-resilient urban development,
- to strengthen tried-and-tested and suitable planning instruments and to align them with the new requirements, and
- adopt funding programmes that support the climate-resilient development of cities.
