From July 7 to August 3, 2021, the exhibition FRISCHGRÜN21 was on display in Erfurt's egapark. Ten young landscape architecture firms had put two of their projects and their office portrait "on paper". The vernissage on July 7 took place at the glass pavilion of the bdla Thuringia in the presence of almost all exhibitors, representatives of the sponsoring companies, members of the working group Young Landscape Architects and other guests.

This was preceded by a competition organised by the bdla, which had invited the young landscape architecture scene in Germany to take part in an exhibition at the beginning of the year. It was to be called FRISCHGRÜN21.

Already in 2008, the exhibition of the same name, Frischgrün 21, organized by the bdla Berlin-Brandenburg, took place in Berlin. After about thirteen years the time was ripe again to get an overview, to give a snapshot of young landscape architecture and to offer this to a broader public.

Within the framework of the exhibition, ten young landscape architecture firms presented themselves, which have distinguished themselves in recent years through their planned and realized works, selected by a jury of landscape architects. The show conveys an impression of the special constructional and design quality of young landscape architecture and of their authors, who introduce themselves in the form of portraits in pictures and text.

A very successful exhibition, shown in the context of the lecture series of the bdla Thuringia "We design climate" at the BUGA in Erfurt.
