On November 26, 2021, the representatives of the sponsoring companies and associations of the German Landscape Architecture Award 2021 competition gathered in Osnabrück. They had accepted the invitation of Oliver Runge, Managing Director of Runge GmbH

In the third generation, Oliver Runge has been steering and managing the fortunes of the company, which employs around 45 people, since 2001. During a tour of the company, Oliver Runge and authorized signatory Uwe Hülsmann led those present through the new factory halls built in 2016, directly at the A30 freeway junction, and provided interesting insights into the production of benches and litter garbage cans and the personal selection of the tree trunks from which Runge benches are made.

In the dialogue with the sponsors, Till Rehwaldt and Stephan Lenzen, both bdla presidium, underlined the importance of the support on the one hand and the professional expertise of the entrepreneurs and association representatives on the other hand. In sum this commitment animates the competition, permits outstanding output; mentioned are the film over the winner project, the competition documentation appearing in a 2.000er edition and naturally the solemn ceremony of the honors.

In the discussion round the quality of the campaign "German Landscape Architecture Award" was emphasized, from the announcement over the jury meeting up to the award ceremony. For the upcoming 16th year, it was suggested to stick to the category of plant use.

At the end of the informative and constructive meeting, the representatives of the bdla renewed the invitation to the sponsors to celebrate the award ceremony and the Festival of Landscape Architecture together at the Allianz Forum at the Brandenburg Gate on the evening of May 13, 2022.
