On Friday, July 1, 2022 and Saturday, July 2, 2022, the city of Kassel and the bdla invite you to an excursion to the documenta city of Kassel.
The city in northern Hesse will once again host documenta, the world's most important exhibition of contemporary art, from June 18 to September 25, 2022. From the city center with the ruruHaus as the starting point and living room of documenta fifteen, as well as the Fridericianum, documenta Halle, Natural History Museum in the Ottoneum, GRIMMWELT and Museum of Sepulchral Culture, the world art exhibition extends across the river Fulda to the east, to the so-called "workbench" of Kassel, and sets new impulses in a city district in transition.
Creative conversion processes are taking place in former industrial sites. The "Hallenbad Ost" can already be visited, further concepts will be presented during the two-day event.
On offer are interesting guided tours through the world's most important exhibition of contemporary art and a nice party in Germany's unique Museum of Sepulchral Culture - followed by the night tour.
