"Old school - new school" - a conversation between landscape architects who started out on their own around twenty to twenty-five years ago or in the last five to ten years.

On November 16, 2023 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., digitally and in person.

How long can we (still) stay young? Can old offices produce young landscape architecture? A critical look at our own generation, a look at the work of those who have shaped us.

How far back does the memory of landscape architecture actually go? How do we remain open to new approaches the day after tomorrow, how do we remain as passionate as we were in the early years? A discussion about old and new designs, attitudes and possibly changing perspectives and framework conditions.

The event will begin with a discussion with Doris Grabner (GHL, Munich) and others, moderated by Nicole Meier and Franz Reschke. There will be time and space for a joint discussion following the smooth transition.

Face-to-face regulars' tables are planned - at least in Berlin at Franz Reschke Landschaftsarchitektur, others will be added if necessary.
