bdla exhibition on "Young Landscape Architecture". Competition submission online until April 2, 2024

The bdla has set itself the goal of giving the young landscape architecture scene a stage in the form of an exhibition. To this end, the competition "FRISCHGRÜN - Exhibition of Young Landscape Architecture" was initiated and launched again in 2024.

For Franz Reschke, bdla Executive Committee member and head of the bdla Young Landscape Architects working group, the competition is intended to showcase the innovative, powerful and perhaps first works of young offices.

The exhibition of the ten best works selected by the jury is intended to convey the special design and conceptual quality of young landscape architecture.

The competition is open to German landscape architects or landscape architects based in Germany who are under 40 years old at the time of submitting their application and/or whose registration with a chamber of architects dates back no more than ten years.

Submissions must be made online at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by April 2, 2024 and are free of charge.

Evaluation and selection will be carried out by a panel of experts consisting of renowned landscape architects.

The "FRISCHGRÜN" exhibition will be officially opened on June 20, 2024 at the Landesgartenschau Kirchheim near Munich and will then be on display at the garden show grounds until the end of September. Further exhibition venues are being planned.

The Young Landscape Architects working group, which has existed since 2018, sees itself as a network of young independent planners in the association. Current projects include the "FRISCHGRÜN" competition/exhibition, the online exhibition at landschaftarchitektur-heute.de and a publication entitled "Young Landscape Architecture".
