IFLAHUB provides
landscape architects worldwide with a shared open-source platform that facilitates access to knowledge, promotes international exchange and strengthens the profession.
Developed by the international landscape architecture community for the international landscape architecture community, IFLAHUB brings together knowledge, contacts and resources to expand knowledge, shape the future together and bring about change.
This new knowledge repository includes a global project archive, a media library, resources for professional practice, a job board for international career opportunities, information on education and training, a directory of organisations and a product database.
The idea for this initiative was conceived in 2022 at the IFLA World Congress in Gwangju, South Korea. Inspired by the question of how the profession’s global expertise could be made accessible across national borders, this knowledge platform was developed over three and a half years by a dedicated team, including the BAK’s IFLA delegate, Gwendolyn Kusters, a landscape architect (bdla), this knowledge platform was developed within three and a half years.
