The International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) has officially launched the IFLA Global Landscape Architecture Awards with a call for project submissions.
This global competition recognises outstanding landscape architecture projects that stand out for their innovation, design quality and social and environmental impact. Entries may include completed works as well as conceptual projects covering a range of topics – from climate adaptation and biodiversity through to social justice, health and technology in urban spaces. The aim is to highlight the diversity of international landscape architecture and to strengthen its role in shaping resilient and liveable open spaces. The deadline for submissions is 1 June 2026. The winning projects will be announced on 29 October 2026 during the IFLA World Congress in Hong Kong.
