On 24 April 2026, the first Landscape Architecture University Day will take place at the ufa-Fabrik in Berlin. Entitled TOMORROW LAND:SCAPE, this nationwide event is dedicated to the next generation of professionals and the key issues facing the discipline in the future. Students, lecturers and practitioners will come together to discuss, on an equal footing, topics including the further development of university campuses, current transformation processes, new skills profiles and the transfer of knowledge between academia and the professional world.
University Day is intended as an open and accessible platform for dialogue for all those involved in landscape architecture and related disciplines. Its partners are the Federal Student Association for Landscape Architecture, the Federal Association for Garden, Landscape and Sports Ground Construction, and the University Conference on Landscape Architecture. Through keynote speeches, workshops and panel discussions, the event aims to set out perspectives, visions and ideas for the education and professional practice of tomorrow. The event concludes with a party featuring matchmaking.
