Due to high demand, the bdla is running this high-end seminar for the third time. Designed as a three-day training course, ‘Specialist Knowledge in Green-Blue Infrastructure/Sponge City’ provides in-depth specialist knowledge as well as practical skills for planning and implementation.
The seminar comprises lectures, practical exercises and group work focusing on the following areas:
• Legal principles and regulations (WHG, DWA-A 138-1, etc.),
• Infiltration systems and rainwater management, flood risk assessment,
• Drainage applications, water law procedures,
• Vegetation techniques in rainwater management,
• Multifunctional land use and ‘sponge city’ concepts
