"Shaping change – profession and planning in dialogue with the times" – a get-together for the young landscape architecture scene on Thursday 20 November 2025 from 7.00 pm to around 9.00 pm, online
She once wanted to save the world – fuelled by idealism and the belief that landscape architecture is, by its very nature, sustainable. But reality has shown her that sustainability requires more than just good intentions.
Today, Lioba Lissner from the Berlin-based firm Hoch C draws on this awareness to shape her projects with depth and a sense of responsibility.
In a personal talk, she takes us on a journey through her professional career. She will talk about changes in project work, about challenges and opportunities, and about how her practice fosters a culture of mutual respect through creative approaches.
We look forward to exciting insights and a lively discussion at our final meet-up of 2025!

Background:
Initiated by the bdla’s Young Landscape Architects working group, the “frischgrün_vernetzt” meet-up aims to promote and sustain the exchange of ideas and networking within the young landscape architecture scene. The regular get-together will take place nationwide in a decentralised, local format whilst also running digitally via a video conference. The programme will include one or two keynote talks at the start of each session (e.g. on topics ranging from design methodology to office management), followed by an open discussion.
