Eight years after the website was launched, Landschaftsarchitektur-heute.de has now received a technical and visual update. In future, it will offer an impressive user experience on all screens - from smartphones to desktops: clear, concise and full of images. In addition, the new design establishes the visual link to the association's website bdla.de.

The bdla members illustrate the many facets of our profession with their projects. Regional projects and planning offices can be found quickly and easily - perhaps we will also provide inspiration for excursions to beautiful projects in the surrounding area.

2,700 projects show the performance spectrum of the profession

If you want to find out about contemporary landscape architecture in Germany, you can get an idea of what it's like by looking at 2,700 projects. The exhibition shows the range of services provided by planners from object to landscape planning and conveys central themes of the profession: Projects and concepts for climate adaptation and green infrastructure, landscape planning, urban greenery, cycle paths, play and leisure facilities or private gardens.

For users, the search functions move more into focus, for example with the new radius search. This enables clients to find suitable partners in their region more quickly and interested parties to obtain information for their exploratory tours of current landscape architecture in their area.

Clear and concise three menu items structure the offer:

  • The menu item "Planning Offices" forms an important platform for clients and builders. It facilitates the office search on the basis references, activity emphasis and regional localization.
  • In the menu item "Projects" landscape architects bdla present their current projects. Currently there are 2,700 entries; about 20 new projects are added monthly.
  • The "Themes" convey the tense relationship between man and nature, made visible with the planning tools of landscape architects. Here, outstanding projects, arranged thematically by curators, are presented with the aim of promoting an understanding of landscape architecture in all its breadth.
