Member directory with updated information on the Bund Deutscher Landschaftsarchitekt:innen

The annual handbook, published by the bdla, has been published punctually at the beginning of the year by Patzer Verlag.

On 240 pages in a handy A5 format, all facts and data concerning the professional association are summarized. In proven form and brought up to date, the handbook 2023 provides an overview of the structures and statutes of the association as well as its memberships.

A separate chapter is dedicated to the German Landscape Architecture Award 2021. bdla President Prof. Stephan Lenzen writes in his foreword: "The 15th competition year again showed that landscape architecture is characterized by its ability to master complex tasks. Landscape architects design open spaces under the aspects of climate adaptation and biodiversity and thus create outstanding and valuable open spaces. Our goal must still be to further increase the weight of landscape architecture within the design professions and in society."

The Service chapter includes a presentation of the professional profile and the overview "Services - What the bdla offers its members". An updated bibliography completes the chapter.

Generously designed and brought up to date, the Landscape Architects' Handbook 2023 contains the directory of the approximately 1,400 bdla members as well as the list of experts. Furthermore, it provides information on educational institutions of landscape architecture, the international landscape architecture associations IFLA and IFLA-Europe, lists associations and other organizations of national standing.

The Landscape Architects Handbook 2023 is published by Patzer Verlag, Berlin/Hanover. The publication costs 17 euros (plus shipping), ISBN 978-3-87617-174-6.
