The event focused on knowledge transfer and understanding the interactions between the urban climate and human health. Specialist presentations provided scientifically sound fundamentals, which form an essential basis for high-quality planning processes. Knowledge of how climate adaptation measures work enables planners to make targeted decisions and enhance their effectiveness, thereby reducing heat-related health risks and safeguarding quality of life in urban areas in the long term.
