With more than 250 participants, our symposium ‘The Berlin Climate Adaptation Act Put to the Test’ on 25 June 2026 at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences was a resounding success. The BHT’s largest lecture theatre was filled to capacity and provided the ideal setting for an in-depth professional exchange.
High-profile speakers from the public sector, academia and the professional field examined, across three thematic blocks, the requirements for urban tree sites, blue-green infrastructure and the future of urban green spaces in the context of climate change. The subsequent panel discussions and the lively participation of the audience highlighted the significant need for dialogue and collaborative solutions to implement Berlin’s Climate Adaptation Act.
The bdla Berlin-Brandenburg is delighted with the positive response and would like to thank all the speakers, contributors, supporters and participants for this inspiring day.
The keen interest and lively discussions have shown that the implementation of Berlin’s Climate Adaptation Act is a collective endeavour that requires professional dialogue more than ever. We look forward to continuing this dialogue through further event formats.
