The bdla Berlin-Brandenburg Economics Working Group is organising a concise online series in 2026 focusing on procurement procedures in landscape architecture. Over the course of three events, key issues relating to the acquisition and execution of public contracts will be examined from a practical perspective – ranging from the fundamentals of public procurement law and the handling of procedures in the sub-threshold sector to the legally compliant and competition-promoting design of suitability and award criteria.
The series is aimed at self-employed landscape architects, staff at architectural practices and public sector clients who wish to deepen their understanding of the legal framework governing public procurement and improve their practical skills in dealing with tenders. Experienced speakers from the fields of specialist journalism and public procurement law will provide insights into typical procedures, explain the legal background and, using concrete examples, demonstrate how to reduce administrative burdens, increase chances of success in competitions and ensure that procedures are fair and transparent.
All events will take place online and, in addition to the presentations, will provide opportunities for discussion and questions. Take this opportunity to expand your knowledge of public procurement procedures and to exchange views with colleagues on current challenges in professional practice.
