On 13 January 2026, the bdla Berlin-Brandenburg got the new year off to a successful start with around 50 members. Long-standing colleagues and many new members gathered at the Stadtwerkstatt on Alexanderplatz to get to know one another, exchange ideas and look ahead together.
Following a brief introduction to the association’s work, the evening centred on active discussion: which working groups already exist, what issues are they currently addressing, and who can be contacted? In addition, all participants were invited to set out their wishes and expectations of the regional association – particularly with a view to the year 2026.
The evening concluded with lively discussions, networking and socialising over drinks and a delicious buffet. This kick-off event made it clear that there is a great deal of interest in getting involved – and that the bdla thrives on the commitment of its members.
