On February 8, 2024, the bdla Saxony celebrated its 1st New Year's reception. This premiere also marked the 33rd anniversary of the Saxony regional group. In the magnificent ambience of Lingner Castle above the Elbe, with excellent music and inspiring conversations, this evening will be remembered for a while by everyone involved.

Of the 110 guests, 29 were from our own regional group alone, including 7 junior members, which provided an additional opportunity to celebrate ourselves. The presence of representatives from state and city politics, business, administration and numerous external colleagues underlined the importance of the event. The positive atmosphere and the variety of discussions made the evening exceptionally exciting.

The successful involvement of important personalities from Saxony's state politics and the contribution of a speaker, which further enriched the reception, were particularly praised. The gratitude for the successful event was palpable among everyone. The organization team enjoyed the evening until the last guest left and was happy that everything had gone so smoothly.

All in all, the bdla Saxony New Year's reception was a complete success and makes us want to repeat it. We would like to express our thanks and appreciation to all those who contributed to its success.
