Even after the publication of the FLL recommendations for dry stone wall construction in 2012, planners and contractors are often faced with problems when addressing the building ground, dimensioning the wall and tendering.
We have been able to attract four high-caliber speakers, some of whom have already been involved in the creation of the FLL recommendations and who have been involved in the planning, construction and assessment of dry stone walls for years.
We want to provide planners and builders with basic knowledge for assessing the subsoil (using exemplary soil analysis) and for dimensioning the wall (with the help of a freely accessible calculation file).
In addition, we want to show how to prepare a professional tender and what to pay particular attention to during construction. Finally, we will present related special construction methods.
