After 15 years of voluntary work Angelika Jacob leaves the board of the Chamber of Architects and Engineers of Schleswig-Holstein.

The bdla expresses its sincere thanks for the many years of commitment as a representative of landscape architects and for the regular information about the activities of the chamber in the board meetings of the bdla. Coming from a landscape planning background, Ms Jacob represented the interests of green planners with clarity and heart. As the only woman on the board, she was also able to skilfully bring in the female point of view. We regret this step, but after such a long period of office we can also understand the reasons.

We are all the more pleased that Sabine Franke from Kiel could be won as her successor. With her, a woman remains on the board of the AIK who combines open space and landscape planning in her professional practice and already has many years of experience in the committees of the Chamber of Architects and Engineers. We would like to thank Sabine Franke for taking on this post and will support her in the best possible way in representing the interests of landscape architects.
