The bdla offers two online formats especially for foreign professionals and career changers, which facilitate the entry in a concentrated and practical way.

In order to address the shortage of skilled workers and to qualify career changers, bdla 2022 has developed a new format to support planning offices: the Green Basics Academy. The free seminars serve the training and further education - in particular of colleagues from other disciplines and employees trained abroad. The successful series of events will now be continued.

There are also plans to offer a Welcome Class. This low-threshold online offering in English is intended to provide European and international specialists with a compact introduction to German landscape architecture and its spectrum, career opportunities, and basic laws and standards.
