Exclusively for the members of the bdla, a sample contract for landscape planning services was developed by the association's legal advisor Dr. Sebastian Schattenfroh.

The bdla working group on landscape planning, headed by spokesperson Kerstin Berg, has been intensively involved in ensuring that the model contract is optimally tailored to the requirements of planning practice.

The sample contract is intended on the one hand for the provision of landscape planning services in accordance with §§ 23-27 HOAI. It essentially regulates the type and scope of the services to be provided as well as the amount and parameters of the fee.

On the other hand, the planning contract was comprehensively oriented towards the provision of special and additional services in landscape and environmental planning as well as their specifics. Proposals for regulations on optional services as well as on the content-related, spatial and time-related performance limits round off the model contract in a practical manner. Under the heading of project management, deadlines and time limits, the commissioning of subcontractors as well as specialist planners and the client's obligations to cooperate are defined, among other things.

The new sample contract is available to bdla members for download in the internal area of the website.
