The Working Group Landscape Planning serves the internal exchange among colleagues, the preparation of statements, lectures and events, is a discussion forum for topics brought in by external experts from the administration, universities and other institutions and serves the exchange of experience with representatives from the administration. The aim of the working group is the professional exchange, the professional training, the advertisement for the association as well as the coordination and preparation of association positions. Members of the working group are available for lectures on landscape planning topics.

In December 2021, the coordination meeting with the Ministry of Environment Brandenburg has taken place. The proposals for strengthening landscape planning in Brandenburg developed by the working group were presented and discussed. The Ministry of the Environment announced the revision of the PDB from 2023. An amendment of the HOAI is pending. We participate in small groups to develop proposals for optimizing the HOAI for landscape planning services. The AHO expert commission will start on 08.09.2022, Martin Janotta will be represented there.

The Association of Liberal Professions wanted to clarify the interprofessional contribution of the liberal professions to the energy transition to the public with a panel discussion "Transformation services of the liberal professions". The panel included Mr. Kellner, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection. Martin Janotta as representative of the BDLA presented the manifold contributions of the profession of landscape planners and suggested improvements in the planning process.

Britta Deiwick as representative of the landscape planning working group has participated in the federal working group AG Freiflächengestaltungsplan. The result of the working group is a short flyer and a comprehensive brochure on the qualified open space plan.

Interested colleagues are welcome to contact Britta Deiwick at b.deiwick[at]fpb.de or Martin Janotta at martin.janotta[at]fugmannjanotta.de about current topics and meetings.
