In 2021/22022, the public relations work was further expanded and staffed, so since the WILA Festival (women in landscape architecture) a new SOM channel on Instagram @bdla_bb has been added, which Hendrikje Unteutsch is in charge of.

Philipp Sattler and Anna Dierking headed the public relations team, which also successfully represented the regional group at the meeting of the federal working group on public relations in Berlin (distribution of federal funding). In the ÖA working group, a one-day workshop was held in May 2022 to optimize activities, which further improved the exchange at the federal level (signal channel). This workshop is to be continued in the fall of 2022.

It is still planned to involve more young colleagues in the public relations work, as has already worked very well in part at the WILA Festival. The "3rd compact retreat of the bdla_BB" in June 2022 at the AIV also brought new impulses here under the keyword: "How can we become more visible?"

In the foreground of the homepage presence were still the handouts/information on publications and events of the LG. An essential topic of the ÖA represents the "feeding" of the new homepage of the bdla by press releases to current topics such as "wind turbines in Berlin" or the "charter for the Berlin urban green". With the nature conservation associations, the FGL, the DGGL of the Brandenburg Initiative Baukultur , the LVGA in Großbeeren, the HNEE in Eberswalde and other actors, the bdla_BB is involved in an alliance to establish a competence center for avenues and street trees. In a tripartite team with DGGL and FGL, the joint "Beelitz Declaration" was also coordinated, presented at the joint summer festival and published as a PM. Further press releases were published on the introduction of the ecological building code (Qualified Open Space Plan), adoption of the Charter for Berlin's Urban Greenery, and the use of wind energy in Berlin.

Our presence on Twitter was further expanded. We now have 1090 followers (!) here.

Interested colleagues are welcome to contact Anna Dierking at dierking.anna[at]gmail.com about current topics and meetings.
