The Association of German Landscape Architects (bdla), Hesse Regional Association, will present the First Prize, honourable mentions and special prizes in the competition for the 2026 Hessian Landscape Architecture Prize on the evening of 23 October 2026 at the Reinhard Ernst Museum in the state capital, Wiesbaden.

All competition entrants, those involved in the planning process, the jury members, the competition’s partners and sponsors, bdla members, friends and guests are warmly invited
to the awards ceremony to celebrate the outcome of the competition.  
Doors open for the reception at 6 pm in the museum foyer. During the official part of the awards ceremony in the Maki Forum, a variety of speakers, guests from the landscape architecture and architecture sectors, politics and public life – all with links to the award-winning projects – are expected to pay tribute to the winners as part of an entertaining programme. 

The awards ceremony will be accompanied by a musical repertoire of ‘Timeless Classics’ performed by Simon Gabriel, a landscape architecture student at Geisenheim University. The evening will be hosted by Germaine Stragies.

Following the official proceedings, a buffet featuring delicacies from ‘Hessian cuisine’ will be available in the foyer, providing the perfect setting for guests to celebrate, chat and exchange ideas with the award winners.
