The five-part seminar series, which will be continued every six months, is aimed at professionally experienced landscape architects. However, due to the discussion of fundamental issues, it is also suitable for those just starting their careers. The attendance of the other parts is no participation condition.

In the area of conflict between owner and implementing enterprises it is the task of the landscape architect to supervise the building process technically, economically and temporally and to bring by its achievement a defect-free and functional work. At the same time it is obligated to inform, clear up and advise the owner thereby technically and in the context of its trustee obligation also building-legally.

The seminar gives an overview of the typical problem cases, from beginning of the execution of construction up to the acceptance and removal of the acceptance lack. Starting from the legal principles and contractual obligations in the object monitoring problem cases are discussed from technical and legal view at concrete case examples. At the same time liability traps are explained and solution possibilities with consideration of the legal background in the main thing of the VOB/B-contract are pointed out.
