The five-part seminar series, which will continue every six months, is aimed at experienced landscape architects. However, due to the discussion of fundamental issues, it is also suitable for career starters. Attendance at the other parts is not a prerequisite for participation.

In the field of tension between the client and the executing company, it is the task of the landscape architect to monitor the construction process professionally, economically and in terms of time and to bring about a defect-free and functional work through his performance. At the same time, he is obliged to inform, clarify and advise the client professionally and, within the scope of his duty of care, also in terms of building law.

The seminar provides an overview of the typical problem cases, from the start of construction work to acceptance and rectification of acceptance defects. Based on the legal principles and contractual obligations in project supervision, problem cases are discussed from a technical and legal perspective using specific case studies. At the same time, liability traps are explained and possible solutions are shown, taking into account the legal background in the main matter of the VOB/B contract.
