Outdoor comfort can be specifically improved with passive and active strategies that are tailored to the local climatic conditions. This can be evaluated using parameters such as the "perceived temperature", which combines all the dominant bioclimatic parameters such as solar radiation, long-wave heat radiation from the surroundings and the sky, air temperature, humidity and wind with the individual level of clothing and activity.
The lecture is dedicated to the question of how the planning of outdoor spaces can be specifically evaluated and optimized to improve outdoor comfort in order to improve the quality of life and density of use.
Speaker: Daniel Kiehlmann, Transsolar KlimaEngineering
Date: Tuesday, March 19, 2024, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
