The course is aimed at planners from the fields of architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and environmental and landscape planning.

Objective
Participants acquire skills and competencies for planning in the field of climate change adaptation in neighborhood development through the course.

Content
In the green city of the future, green-blue infrastructure plays a decisive role in adapting neighborhoods to advancing climate change and improving the quality of life of residents. Particularly in growing cities that have to combine population growth and climate adaptation, questions arise about the effectiveness of different green concepts, assessment methods and the integration of climate resilience into planning and administrative processes. The "Green City of the Future" project, funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, has addressed these issues and developed integrated approaches to solutions.

The seminar presents the results and products of the project, with examples from Munich illustrating the practical applicability as so-called real-world laboratories.
