The course is aimed at people who have completed a university degree in architecture, interior or landscape architecture, civil engineering, building services engineering or related disciplines. Module 1 "Basic knowledge of BIM" or an adequate level of knowledge to be demonstrated is a prerequisite for participation in this in-depth course (modules 2-4).

Objective
The course provides comprehensive BIM expertise and enables you to focus on the BIM-based development and realization of construction projects in the future. Upon successful completion of all modules and the final examination, you will receive a certificate of completion in accordance with the BIM standard of the German Chambers of Architects and Engineers, which is based on the VDI/bS-MT guidelines 2552 sheets 8.1 and 8.2. The certificate of completion is recognized by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) as proof of BIM qualification when awarding public construction projects for federal construction.

Content
The in-service, modular qualification program BIM - Planning, Building and Operating according to the BIM standard of German Chambers of Architects and Engineers provides basic and in-depth knowledge to manage digital processes holistically and to be able to use digital methods. It shows how the BIM method promotes the necessary partnership-based and interdisciplinary cooperation. Accordingly, the program deals with the relevant BIM tools and their implementation as well as the legal conditions and guidelines. In terms of content, the qualification program is based on the five BIM factors of people, processes, data, technology and framework conditions. The theoretical knowledge imparted is trained in exercise sequences and put into practice in workshops. In this way, the course serves as a practical application of the acquired knowledge and enables participants to deal professionally with the topic of BIM in the future.

Note
The course is limited to 26 participants. It will be held in cooperation with the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers and the number of places will be divided between the two organizers. Registration therefore takes place via the respective chamber. Another cooperation partner is the Association of German Landscape Architects Bavaria (bdla). The reduced participation fees apply to members of the cooperation partners. If you are a member of a cooperation partner but not a member of ByAK or BayIKA, please obtain a registration code from the cooperation partner, register as a guest and enter the code in the comments field when registering. You will then automatically be charged only the membership price.
