Objective
The most important basics and possible applications of BIM in landscape architecture will be explained to participants using real planning examples and practical explanations.

Content
The comprehensive digitalization of living and working environments represents completely new options and potential for action for the construction industry, which has been comparatively less digitalized to date. Against this backdrop, the BIM methodology has been developed in recent years. It is essential to understand that BIM is a process description for creating and managing a central data structure of a building object in a model. This data structure contains information on geometry, the building materials used, costs, schedules and even operational requirements.

The BIM processes in landscape architecture are currently being tested on real construction projects. Due to the previous focus of research on building construction and infrastructure, there are hardly any verified working methods for creating and attributing the 3D geometry of the BIM landscape architecture model.

This seminar uses real planning examples to systematically explain the integral planning methodology of BIM in landscape architecture and transparently present comprehensible work steps for your own everyday planning work.
