The seminar is aimed at landscape architects, urban planners and architects who work in planning offices or as client representatives in the planning and implementation of measures for climate adaptation and improvement.

Objective
The seminar provides the most important planning principles for successful, sustainable building greening and sensible rainwater management in residential and urban areas.

Content
Increasing urbanization and densification in cities are sealing more and more areas and jeopardizing the safeguarding of ecosystem services and the ability to adapt to climate change. The multifunctional use of land and buildings is an important compensatory instrument for preserving and improving the urban climate situation. The planning topics of "greening buildings" and "rainwater management" are very important. In order to achieve our climate protection goals, these should be used in the future for all construction measures in existing and new buildings and should already be taken into account in the urban land-use planning phases. This seminar will present planning guidelines, new standards, current research and practical examples.
