This specialist event is dedicated to the professional and airtight installation of exterior windows and takes place in cooperation with the GIH Bundesverband for experts in the fields of energy consulting and construction. Against the backdrop of the expansion of the energy efficiency expert list to include specialist companies, the building physics principles and practical detailed solutions for the planning and installation of exterior windows and doors will be discussed. A joint New Year's breakfast will also provide an opportunity for participants and speakers to share their experiences. The event can also be followed digitally.
As part of the event, Oliver Solcher, Managing Director of the Fachverband Luftdichtheit im Bauwesen, will shed light on the airtightness and ventilation concept for window modernization, including the requirements in the BEG, the distinction from detailed planning and practical assistance. Christian Hauschild, Managing Director of Tischlerei Ludwig Hauschild GmbH, will provide insights into professional window installation in practice, with a focus on window sealing, reveal insulation and integrated forced ventilation - especially in old buildings.
