"Sustainability, Design and Construction in Landscape Architecture"

Teaching and research content:
The professorship 'Sustainability, Design and Construction in Landscape Architecture' occupies the interface between planning and construction and defines in research and teaching the framework in which the green building of the future will be possible.
The interface between design and construction is a central and indispensable topic in the training of landscape architects and landscape engineers.
The professorship 'Sustainability, Design and Construction in Landscape Architecture' is therefore centrally integrated into the Bachelor's degree programs of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture as part of undergraduate teaching.

The main areas of focus are:

• Building with renewable raw materials
• Building with living raw materials / plants
• Evolutionary design and construction
• Life cycle assessment-based design and construction
• Circular construction
• Socio-centered construction (building with laypeople, empowering young people, etc.)

The teaching performance must be incorporated into the undergraduate courses offered by the Faculty of Landscape Architecture. Further teaching input into the Master's programs, some of which are taught in English, is desired.
Active involvement in applied research, supervision of internships, project work and theses as well as participation in university self-administration are required. The assumption of related teaching content is desired. We offer an interesting field of work at the interface between applied research and practice-oriented teaching with the opportunity for independent further development of the subject area.

Your profile:
You have a degree in landscape architecture, landscaping or related subjects with a corresponding focus.
You can look back on several years of professional experience in landscape architecture and have experience in the disciplines of design and construction.
Furthermore, you have experience in application-oriented research in the university or non-university sector.
